At the Edge of the Pasture

This is the view at the edge of the pasture.  There are 12 acres of woodland with a stream running through. The colors are beautiful this year!

November always makes me think of the beautiful browns and bronzes of the Autumn grasses, the abundance of seed heads in all colors and shapes, and the wild birds that live in our pastures.

I love the idea of a Halloween season. October brings out my dark side. The reality though, is that my dark side is more akin to a cloudy day than anything sinister and creepy. I don't even watch horror movies.
