Full Circle

And so goes the wheel that turns
The path that bumps and twists.
I am my Fathers child right now,
but something is amiss.
The strength I feel, the glimmers
The support he gives to me,
It’s really me that’s giving
within this family tree.
We join our hands, our spirits,
No one can really know
The child within gives back the strength,
That’s how the wheel should go.......
No guilt is felt, we understand
The nature of the way.
He gave to me when I was young
It’s my turn now to say
I AM HERE.

Your poetry tells a story, and you hardly ever find anyone who writes this way any more.

A very famous poet once said' the child is the father of man'. How true it is, the wheel keeps on turning , we are young once and then become elders to the young! Well written poem!

I am mesmerised.

Truth be told.. I don't like poetry. I am much, much better at writing free style. Like you find your solace in poetry.. I find my salvation in stories.

There's a story behind the making of every person. What's yours? What's the story which led to the creation of this amazing site and its wonderful content?

Yes. I am impressed. Probably because I like anyone who is better at me in poetry (almost everyone is =D ). But you touch a nerve with me always.

And your art.. C'est la chose loveliest jamais.

I am following you (obviously).
I know you don't have time and all.. but could you drop by my blog sometime? I love criticism. And I write about ANYTHING to EVERYTHING.

I'd love it if you share some of your ideas with me.

So long,

The poem is beautiful and it reminds me of that song: The Windmills Of My Mind" poems are based on personal thoughts and feelings and when read by other people it means different things to other people. Life is a circle like the seasons but every summer is different from the last summer.
Beatifully written. I also like the paintings as well. Thank you for your kind comment. I thought no one read my blog.
