Speaking softly against the wind,
Crystalline moments captured within time--
Refracting within the iris of an unknown eye,
And drifting among the memories of those
who dare to let go.
Jewel tones of joy, inky blackness
of sorrow and pain-
Yet all enclosed within one split second
suspension of infinity...
Never ending, never beginning
Forever renewed.

i did an art project in high school about reflections and i had to draw a lot of eyes lol but it has made me somewhat obsessive over pictures of eyes so imagine my delight when i saw this and the poem below was wow! as always :)
